Bodybuilder. Actor. Governor. Film fans can admire the iconic musculature of Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger for a full day this July, as RAD Screenings programme a day dedicated to the Austrian strongman at Stockport Plaza.

Featuring four of his most celebrated roles, RAD’s Arnold Schwarzenegger All-Dayer starts with a literal bang, with 1985’s Commando set to light up the screen. Then, Arnie is joined by fellow heavyweight Carl Weathers to battle an extra-terrestrial threat in John McTiernan’s terrific sci-fi actioner Predator (1987).

RAD then showcase the Austrian Oak’s comedic chops in James Cameron’s 1994 crowd-pleasing action-farce True Lies. Cameron, of course, is the director who helped launch Schwarzenegger’s acting career with as the T-1000 in 1984’s The Terminator and there couldn’t be a day dedicated to Arnie without featuring him in his most famous role…

For the close, the RAD team have lined up Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991), which sees Schwarzenegger reteam with Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor and her son John Connor (Edward Furlong) as they attempt to prevent the rise of the machines. Hasta la vista, baby.
