MIF19 David Lynch at HOME Manchester International Festival

29 May — 31 August 2020 Entrance is free — Visit now

David Lynch’s HOME takeover was one of our highlights of last year. As part of Manchester International Festival, the world-renowned artist, filmmaker and musician took over the building with an exhibition as well as a series of film screenings, conversations, Q&As and live music gigs. With HOME closed for now, why not reenter the disturbing, surreal world of David Lynch? Now available online, HOME are taking a look back at this unique season of events with videos from the events, images and audio from the art exhibition and film recommendations that you can enjoy in your homes.

Ready to view now is the charming live video Q&A with David Lynch hosted by curator Sarah Perks, that opened the season. You can listen to HOME curator Bren O’Callaghan’s audio guide to My Head is Disconnected, as well as view images from the exhibition. Or there’s a chance to re-embark on an exploration of Transcendental Meditation with Lynch, joined by musician Tim Burgess and Deirdre Parsons, executive director of the David Lynch Foundation UK.
