Liverpool Craft Beer Expo – the hugely popular “game-changing” beer festival – is taking this year’s show not only on the road, but also out into the open. Shifting from the outdoors-inside vibe of Camp & Furnace to the yarden at Baltic event space Constellations has allowed the Expo to add a cider house and whisky den to an already brimming programme, which takes in 250 different beers from across the UK and beyond. No wonder, then, that the Saturday session is already close to selling out.

So, what else is planned for 2015’s outing (18-21 June)? There will be new bars focusing on German and Italian brews, and some “secret local beers”. Plus, there’ll be a “huge and theatrical” beer garden, where hop adorers can slosh back pints from 90 different beer taps beneath a (hopefully) clear sky, before the stars announce the evening’s party. There will be wood-fired pizza and a BBQ, as well as vinyl-only DJs.
