Islington Mill, a former cotton spinning mill in Salford, is home to more than 50 artists and designers, two art galleries, a recording studio and a club space. It was originally converted by Bill Campbell, who returned home to Salford after studying fashion at Central St Martin’s and felt the area needed more affordable space for local artists.
