We’re big fans of Grimmfest — Manchester’s international festival of horror, cult and fantastic cinema — here at Creative Tourist. With in-person screenings on hold due to lockdown, genre movie lovers can head over to the recently launched Grimmfest TV, the festival’s free new online TV channel dedicated to horror films of all shapes and sizes.

Movies are curated from previous editions of Grimmfest and the channel features an ever expanding line-up, with new titles added each week. Features currently available to view include 2017’s opening night film Habit, the Rob Grant horror comedy Mon Ami and the (scary-sounding) La Contagion.

Festival director Simion Halligan sees the channel as a win-win, saying “We believe this will benefit both fans and filmmakers too, as the Grimmfest brand and its online reach will give all the selected films some much-needed exposure while people are staying at home and unable to visit cinemas and film festivals across the World”

Each week at least two new films will be added to the channel, and all films will remain available to view for free, until lockdown is over.
