Manchester Weekender: Thursday Lates: The Fashion Special

For Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, Manchester Art Gallery hosts a very special evening of fashion, art, food and drink.

Thursday Lates puts its fashionable foot forward courtesy of an evening of fashion at Manchester Art Gallery, put together specially to celebrate the city-wide Fashion’s Night Out. Shop at a pop-up vintage fair, with rare and beautiful wares from handpicked coterie of independent local traders, selling their finest vintage fashion. Turn the clock back on yourself with a vintage makeover – just pick your decade and then learn how to recreate its signature look. Curators from Manchester’s own Gallery of Costume are on hand, and give a lively talk called What is fashion – and why does it matter? And don’t miss the brilliant vintage photoshoot. Put yourself on the front cover as we, with the help of a professional photographer, recreate some of fashion’s most iconic fashion moments. With the usual mix of food, drink and of course art, this is set to be a fabulous and free evening.  Part of Fashion’s Night Out.
