Rave on: NYE at the Warehouse Project

End the year with one hell of a party, courtesy of the Warehouse Project

The Warehouse project is back for another New Years Eve special. Having moved from last year’s spot under Piccadilly train station, this year’s new location is no less cool. Situated in the Victoria Warehouse, a stone’s throw from Manchester United and the vast sweep of the Manchester Ship Canal, this out-of-city-centre location feels alternative and edgy.

For maximum enjoyment, remember to leave the heels at home, girls

The main room is guaranteed to be rammo but move through the cool brick tunnels into rooms two and three and you’ll feel less like a packed sardine. This year’s DJs include Annie Mac, Felix da Housecat and Redlight to name a few, although for maximum enjoyment (and dancing) remember to leave the heels at home, girls. Drinks are pricey but don’t have you feeling too put out due to the great party atmosphere. If you’ve had one too many, then check in to Victoria Warehouse’s very own hotel just next door. The event has sold out for 2012, testament to its great location and class acts. But, despite persistent rumours that each year will be its last, we’re hopeful that the Warehouse Project will return for another 12-week run next September – giving you plenty of time to get your act together for NYE 2013.
